Master Preschool Educator

Teacher Jeanette has over 30 years of experience with young learners, coming into the classroom when her own children were in preschool.

ā€œWhen my babies were born, I realized how important the first years of a childā€™s life are.ā€ Teacher Jeanette says. After completing her degree in Early Childhood Education, Teacher Jeanette began a career that enhanced the lives of thousands of young minds.

In 2015, she was awarded Teacher of the Year from the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools.

Until the pandemic, Teacher Jeanette led Milpitas Parentsā€™ Preschool for 20 years, the longest continuously operating preschool in Milpitas. She operates on the principle that the best education results from an active partnership among parents, teachers, and children.

She was also a co-director/teacher of Cupertino Co-Op Nursery school for 16 years, closing out her last year in 2019.

Teacher Jeanetteā€™s schools were all National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) certified, and she led the efforts to revitalize playgrounds and learning spaces at each to create the most vibrant learning environments for children and parents.

Now, Teacher Jeanette is LIVE on Zoom. Preparing all summer for the launch of Circle Time, Teacher Jeanette has developed an online preschool curriculum informed by the most current research and training about remote learning to provide your child with the best chance of success in early learning.

ā€œI believe in providing a nurturing, hands-on environment in order for children to grow and develop their fine gross motor, social/emotional, creative, cognitive, and language skills,ā€ says Teacher Jeanette. ā€œI also believe that Early Childhood Education can make a difference and that parents are a significant part of their childā€™s life.ā€

Take it from me ā€“ my name is Jessica, and Iā€™m Teacher Jeanetteā€™s oldest child and only daughter. My mom has been teaching me for 37 years. I fundamentally believe that working with early learners is her lifeā€™s work ā€“ my earliest memories of love, creative learning and play, and dancing to her vinyl Elvis records are my happiest. I see her working with your children and just knew we had to figure out a way to bring my mom live, online, to your home.

I live and work in New York City, and Iā€™ve been crafting this effort with my younger brothers David and Jeff (both former collegiate football stars) as mom prepares for months. My Dad, Chuck, is wildly excited and I fully expect dad-built ā€œsetsā€ (think movable bulletin boards) to appear soon in your Zoom screen. Itā€™s almost inevitable that the family pug, Pipp, will be in class ā€“ heā€™s been the star of our test classes and we canā€™t wait for you to meet him.

Weā€™re in a new era of education. But what we do know is that parents and educators must find an effective way to teach our young children. Teacher Jeanette will ensure that they receive the social, emotional, and cognitive learning that is so important now for long-term achievement.
